Sunday Flurries

By Rod Hill on 2009-12-04

The weekend headline is cold, but mostly dry air for the west side.  The best chance to see snow flurries will be Sunday.  A trace of snow will be possible.  No metro travel problems are expected.  The coast could also see snow flurries as a cold upper low hovers overhead.  East winds will be 15-35 mph across most metro areas Sunday.  Gusts into the gorge will reach near 50 mph.  Wind chill factors Sunday will make big winter coats necessary for those spending time outdoors.  Cold temperatures will linger well into next week.
